Mexican Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Rich in heart healthy fats, avocados blend into a creamy, velvety texture that when combined with cocoa powder, turn into a lush chocolate dessert. This version takes it to a new level with the addition of warm Mexican spices and vanilla.
Make sure your avocados are ripe and soft; too hard and they won’t blend well. A little browning is okay, you’ll never see it in the end result.
Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
Put all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the bowl a few times as you go.
Season with salt to taste, and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
